SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!
This Saturday July 14, 2025, Hanover Shoe Farms will be open for visiting hours from 9-11 AM. Now that breeding season is complete, we have been able to take a breather and are ready to welcome you to this special opportunity. If you have been to the farm in the past 2 weeks you have noticed that the barns and paddocks are mostly empty. The mares and foals are generally living out in the big fields 24/7. On Saturday, we will have several of the mares and foals brought in and available for viewing. Please follow all of the visiting rules from Tuesday visiting hours. You may enter the farm at the main entrance on Hanover Pike (2310 Hanover Pike) or the side entrance on Race Horse Road. We ask that you check in at the farm office, located in Barn 1 (which is actually the second barn) under the big Hanover Shoe Farm sign. s ONLY barns 1-4 and the surrounding paddocks are open for visitors. VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED PAST THE INTERSECTION OF THE DRIVEWAYS BEYOND BARN 4! Visitors are asked to NOT touch the horses. This is for your safety as well as the safety of the animals. DO NOT CLIMB ON THE FENCES. We know you want to get closer but they were not made for you to sit on. DO NOT OPEN ANY STALL DOORS OR PASTURE GATES. They are closed for a reason. Please be respectful of barn workers and the vet crew and follow their directions. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
