PFLAG Manistee Monthly Meeting - July 20th
Celebrate the 2025 PFLAG Manistee Scholarship Recipients & New PFLAG Manistee Board Members!
Please join us in celebrating our 2025 PFLAG Manistee scholarship recipients! Generous donations from PFLAG and other community members have made the scholarship program possible, and you all deserve to be celebrated too! This year’s scholarships are awarded in memory of Jim Toczynski. Jim was one of the founding members of PFLAG Manistee and worked to ensure PFLAG’s mission was carried out for 14 years! Among his many roles, Jim kept us up to date regarding legislation and other news impacting the queer community at our general meetings. We miss him and will celebrate his memory as well.
And lastly, new PFLAG board members, Amanda Babcock and Isabel Osborn, were voted in at our May meeting. If you haven’t had the chance to meet them yet, please join us for cake and some conversation on July 20th at First Congregational Church.
