Tom Evans returns to the Bookcliffs Arts Center for our Hilltop Summer Concert Series!
Tom Evans grew up in the Philadelphia area and moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1989 eventually settling in Rifle in 2005. He plays American Folk music featuring Piedmont style (fingerpickin’) blues guitar and Clawhammer style banjo. His main musical influences include Jorma Kaukonen, David Holt, Doc Watson, Mississippi John Hurt, Rev. Gary Davis, Brownie McGhee and many other old-time pickers.
The Hilltop Summer Concert Series is entirely free to the public thanks to the generous support from the City of Rifle G.R.I.T grant.
Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and settle in for a beautiful evening under the shade of our historic cottonwood trees.
