This is a DIY open day where you will have full access to the arena, obstacle course, round yard and day yards between 10am and 1.30pm, riding with other like-minded people.
There is no set structure to the day, you can do whatever you like. We welcome all ages, types and abilities of riders and horses. You do not have to ride, you are welcome to bring your horse for exposure, or to do groundwork or led obstacles.
Come by yourself, or as a group.
Guidelines:
If you would like to use the obstacle course, we recommend you bring protective boots for your horse.
Please do not lunge on the arena, the round yard is the designated area for lunging or any ground work involving repetitive circles
Be mindful and courteous of other riders and horses. Consider your safety and the safety of others.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Dogs are not allowed on the premises.
Please note you should hold your own personal accident insurance cover if required, Ravens Park does not provide this coverage.
Location:
Ravens Park Riding Club is located at Glenview Park Racecourse, next to the Greyhound Racing Club. It can be accessed from McNairn Road, via the gate with the blue "Float Entry" sign, then through the open black gate and follow the signs to the right side (inside the race track). Check the event discussion for the detailed map and parking instructions, and don't forget to click 'going' on the event to be kept up to date on all details!
Cost:
- $30 per rider (or handler if you are only doing led), no membership is required. This gives you access for up to 3.5 hours (up to 2 horses)
- Free to RPRC members (no booking required for members)
πPlease No Early callers. Gates open at 10am β please do not enter prior to this time.
Bookings:
All Bookings must be via Event Secretary. We do not accept bank transfers or cash.

*Please book by 8.30pm the day prior. If you would like to check if there are places available after this time, please DM the RP Club Page. We will also consider bookings the morning of, if there are places available.
Cancellations: If you cancel your booking it cannot be transferred or reimbursed. Ravens Park reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if the weather/conditions are not safe or suitable (e.g. extreme heat, wind, rain or other weather event). If the event is postponed or cancelled, refunds will be issued and riders will need to rebook an alternate date if available. Ravens Park reserves the right to ask an attendee to leave if they are not following the RPRC guidelines or are acting in an unsafe manner that could cause harm to others.
