The Clockmakers Daughter

The PSAF presents THE CLOCKMAKER'S DAUGHTER! In the late 19th century, the Irish town of Spindlewood was home to a master clockmaker. Distraught after the untimely death of his daughter, Abraham Reed sets about capturing her image in clockwork; building a young girl so unquestionably real that even he is unable to fathom her making. Endowed with thoughts and feelings, Constance longs to explore the outside world. Her secret adventures with a boy named Will and her desire to connect to the outside world ultimately lead to a series of events that challenge the town’s beliefs and change Spindlewood forever.
An original musical by British composers Michael Webborn and Daniel Finn, THE CLOCKMAKER'S DAUGHTER is a beautiful tale about grief, love, connection, and fear of the unknown. You don’t want to miss this “original musical faerytale!” (Recommended for general audiences).

THE CLOCKMAKER’S DAUGHTER runs July 25, 26, August 1 and 2 at 7:30pm and July 27 and August 3 at 2:00pm in the Center for the Arts Brodbeck Concert Hall.
