Intro to Butterflies - Enjoying New Jersey's Butterflies

Most people can name the Monarch Butterfly, and some even know that the "big yellow one" is a Tiger Swallowtail. But did you know that New Jersey is home to about 110 different kinds of butterflies?

Join Sharon & Wade Wander of the New Jersey Butterfly Club to discover more about our winged beauties - from the tiny, golden Least Skipper to the spectacular Giant Swallowtail, and from the common Cabbage White to the endangered Leonard's Skipper. Being able to recognize more of our beautiful butterflies will transform your enjoyment of the out-of-doors, whether in your own garden or in our wilder open spaces.

Sunday, July 27th. This will be held in the Lusscroft Carriage House at 50 Neilson Road, Wantage. There is a $5.00 per person admission fee.

Presented by the Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry.
