Kayaking & Stand Up Paddleboarding Demos

Join certified instructors at the new Garfield Park Pond as you give paddling a try. Drop-in and climb into an available kayak or stand up paddleboard. Instructors will be on shore to assist you with securely putting on a lifejacket, learning to use a paddle, and to safely launch. Instructors will be nearby on-water to give helpful tips and tricks while you paddle in Garfield Park Pond. Demos will happen weather permitting. Any changes due to weather will be posted on this site.
