When a group of twentysomethings stumbles upon dust corner of Texas folklore involving the gruesome murders of a certain Dr. Satan, they find the urban legend all too reel, in Rob Zombie’s directorial debut, a dark tribute to Tobe Hooper that blends Texas terror with nightmarish carnival imagery, resulting in one of the most arresting horror films of the early 2000s.
Featuring a career redefining role for Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding, along with Bill Moseley, Karen Black, Sheri Moon Zombie, Walton Goggins, Chris Hardwick, and Dennis Fimple!
