Perseid Meteor Shower Watch Party

The annual Perseid Meteor Shower peaks this weekend! Join members of the Hardin County Astronomy Club for a meteor watch party at the Lake Idlewild property just north of Kenton!
The club will have telescopes set up for public observing, and can provide guidance on spotting meteors and other night sky objects. Bring your own telescope or binoculars too!
Dress for the weather as this is an outdoor, night time event. We recommend bringing camp chairs, blankets, bug spray, flashlights, and drinks.
The driveway for this property is long. Indicators/signage will be posted at the entrance so you don't miss it!
Rain date will be Saturday Aug 16.
