Author Christopher Meister will speak about the architectural legacy of Albert Kahn. Based on his research and biography, “Albert Kahn's Daylight, An Architect Reconsidered”, Meister will discuss iconic architecture in and around Detroit including the Fisher Building, Belle Isle Aquarium and Horticultural Building. This exploration of Kahn's dynamic career establishes the architect as a vital figure for the global development of architectural modernism and to twentieth-century economic and political history.
