Always good to welcome back singer/songwriter, guitarist and Bluesman Sunjay to the Bulls Head, this time accompanied by Lee Southall on ‘Harp’. Sunjay has become recognised as one of the UK’s rising stars, has recently returned from a much acclaimed Tour of The Czech Republic and last week had excellent reviews from the Southwell Blues Festival.
His performances have been described as “mature and confident”, while his guitar playing has been hailed as, “superb, brilliant, experienced, intricate and faultless.” with a style that has that natural drift between folk and blues. Sunjay last Album - ‘I’m Just Like You’ received great reviews, it is a tribute to Chris Smither, who has been an inspiration to him since a very early age. Sunjay first met Chris by chance after going to see him perform at ‘The Luminaire’ in London and over the years have become friends with Sunjay opening his show as support on many stages.
