🐝 Crochet a Bee or Chick – Beginner-Friendly Workshop for Kids & Adults

Come and learn how to crochet your very own adorable bee or chick in this fun and friendly workshop – perfect for children and adults with some crochet experience who want to try something new!

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

Crochet in the round using simple shapes

Stuff and assemble your bee or chick

Add sweet details like wings, eyes or a beak

Read and follow a beginner-friendly pattern

Choose your favourite – a buzzy bee or a fluffy chick – and enjoy making your very own handmade character to take home.

🧶 Some crochet experience is necessary – you’ll need to know how to make a chain and double crochet stitch (UK terms), but no toy-making experience is needed.

All materials are provided, and the workshop is open to both children (age 8+) and adults – a lovely activity to do solo or together!

The workshop is held at Devonmade, 142 Torquay Road, Paignton, TQ3 2AH

An adult must be present for all of the class

Please note we do not offer cancellations or refunds on our workshops this is due to us requiring minimum numbers in order to run and because we have to order materials and prepare for the workshop in advance.

We only offer refunds in circumstances where Hanmadedevon has to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
