Join us for our Try Hockey for Free event—designed specifically for kids with little to no skating or hockey experience! We’ll provide skates and a hockey stick so your player can get a feel for the game in a fun, low-pressure environment. All participants must bring their own helmet; a bike helmet or similar protective helmet is perfectly acceptable.
We suggest dressing your child in warm, comfortable layers such as sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Snow suits are not recommended, as they can restrict movement on the ice. We also know it’s hot outside, so if your player wears sandals to the rink, don’t forget to pack long socks to wear with their skates. Staying warm and comfortable will help make their first hockey experience even more enjoyable!
