Farms to Forest Trail Hike

Meet a ranger at 10:00am at Oak Ridge Trail Parking Area in the park for a 1 hour hike. Discover the family farming history of this area before it became a park on this mostly level 1 mile hike through the forest. It is recommended to bring bug spray and water and wear hiking shoes for this shaded hike. The Oak Ridge Trail Parking Area is a 15-20 minute drive from the park's entrance, located along the park's Scenic Drive near Oak Ridge Campground.
