A Strength-building class using 1kg or 2kg hand weights in yoga postures and sequences, the focus in this practice is to build and maintain lean muscle in your arms, legs, glutes and core abdominals. Yoga with weights enhances your awareness of alignment in yoga positions and refines your technique and balance.

Using small weights with repetition will also help with coordination as well as maintaining bone density, which can decline as we age.
Designed to be accessible for beginners and challenging for experienced students, you can choose from the 1kg or 2kg weights we have and switch during the class if you like.

This class includes a 5-minute relaxation.
