4th Annual Cram the Cruiser & Fill the Backpack for Free Day!

We’re excited to announce that it’s almost time for our favorite back-to-school tradition! The Carbondale Police Department and Carbondale City Library are teaming up again to help our Santa Fe Trail families get ready for the new school year.

Friday, August 8th — Cram the Cruiser
302 Main St., Carbondale, KS | 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Join us for food trucks (Poppin’ Squeeze & Flint Hills Catering), music, and photo ops with our PD vehicles while we collect new school supplies for Santa Fe Trail students, Pre-K through 8th grade!

Saturday, August 9th — Fill the Backpack for Free Day!
302 Main St., Carbondale, KS | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (or while supplies last)

Come pick up FREE school supplies, backpacks, hygiene kits, and more — no cost at all! This is your one-stop spot to grab the items your SFT students need for the year ahead.

Everything is FREE — just come and take what you need!
