Bike Bemidji Short Rides: Reverse Half Loop the Lake

Great news, cyclists! The Paul Bunyan Trail is cleared and ready for riding. The derecho cancelled Loop the Lake 2025 and slowed us down, but there is plenty of biking left in the season. Please join us for a free ride on Thursday July 25th. We will meet at the South Shore Beach House and travel along the Paul Bunyan Trail to Lake Bemidji State Park and back, a total of 12 miles. Jeremiah Johnson will be our lead. Gather at 5:30 to sign waivers, we ride at 6, should be back to the start by 7:30.

Please note that the connector trail into the State Park is not cleared. If you choose to end your ride at the park instead of returning with the group you will need to proceed north to 20 and take the regional trail along 20 to the main park entrance.
Helmets recommended.
