Itβs HVAP season again! Yaaaaay!!!!
Suitable for: π’ π΅ Adventurous beginner riders and above - comfortable with green trails and moving into blue trails or comfortable with blue trails. Rides are usually 15-18km in length and will always be tailored to the level of riders in the group, so donβt feel youβll be holding others back. However, the ride is not suitable for absolute beginners.
Location: Addictive Hidden Vale Adventure Park. Longer, fun, flowy and rocky, loamy, sandy and red soil trails on the mostly green and some blue trails. Itβs a spectacular park and so many of our club sisters just love to ride here! Entry is $20 (pay on day) or a season pass for $99. Good quality e-bikes available for hire at HVAP but pre-booking is essential.
Time: Rollout is at 9am sharp, so aim to be there by 8.30 to get ready, use the ladies, pay the entrance fee and get a pre-ride briefing.
Bring: Auscycling Insurance (see below for more details), water/electrolytes, snacks, sunscreen, tools, helmet, capable MTB and your sense of humour π€£.

Social: lunch and an ice cold drink or two ;-) at the Barn or the nearby Grandchester Hotel.

Insurance and Membership: All riders must have AusCycling insurance, you are covered if you are a member of the RATS or another affiliated MTB or cycling club. If not, get a free trial AusCycling licence here, which will cover you for a few rides:
