Wellingtons Favourite Rockers, blending wall of sound guitars, with driving rhythms and melodic hooks, This Silent Divide make their first appearance at Taupo's legendary dive bar Rosemary's, in support of their new single 'City Lights' set for release on July 24th across all platforms.
In 2024 the band released single 'In This World' which Flash-Trax labelled “an absolute belter of a track” and 2023 singles 'Outside', 'Beautiful Creature' and 'Morning', received positive reviews and radio play in New Zealand, the US & UK, taking the band's music to a wider audience.
Critics labelled 'Beautiful Creature' an alt-rock jewel (Mesmerized), a “darkly epic new anthem” (Under The Radar), an enjoyably dynamic roller coaster (Rock Era Magazine), and packed with hooks and energy (Muzic.nz)
Making his third appearance at Rosemary's, Danny Rascal returns fresh from shows with Luger Boa, Powder Chutes and The Boondocks to support his debut solo album 'Thursdays Child'
After 30 years touring with his previous bands, Monkey Puzzle, Faster She Said, and The Rascal Kings, Danny released his debut solo album in May 2025.
Recorded over 2 years between his lounge and drummer Benzo's garage, mixed and mastered by internationally acclaimed London Hard House producer Ryan Tregurtha, the album is obnoxiously drum heavy and made to be played LOUD.
