The Art Lovers Book Club meets bimonthly to discuss art-inspired novels and biographies over a glass of wine and snacks at the Albany Museum of Art.
There is no formal membership and the meetings are free and open to the public. Loves for art, books, and good company are all that are needed to join in the discussions.
Books scheduled for spring 2025 are:
March 18: "The Judgment of Paris: The Revolutionary Decade That Gave the World Impressionism" by Ross King;
May 20: "The Vanishing Velázquez: A 19th Century Bookseller’s Obsession with a Lost Masterpiece" by Laura Cumming.
