NEW TRAINING. - RADIO TRAINING - Thurs 31st July, 6.30pm at Te Kura Whakatipu O Kawarau school hall.
We're holding another training session on Community Response. In an emergency, standard communication channels might be limited but your local community response group is prepared with VHF radio and a brand new Starlink unit.
Come along and find out how to use a handheld 2 way radio and see how the Starlink unit works.
6:30pm, Thursday 31 July
School hall at Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau (use the car park on Perendale Road)
Knowing how to use a radio is the sort of thing that could come in handy in many situations. This is also an opportunity to meet with the Jacks and Hanley's Community Response Group and find out a little more about what we do.
There's no need to book and this session is open to anyone in the local community, so spread the word. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please pass this along.
