Skirts in the Dirt Trail Day

It’s that time of year when we show Wahlfield some love in anticipation of the Skirts in the Dirt Mountain Bike race! We are going to be running the brush hog, W**d whipping, trimming face slappers and anything else that needs doing. We’ll provide the tools, but if you have a favorite W**d whip, dirt shovel or loppers, bring it along. We will meet up at the barn on 8 mile, (look for the green “trail work ahead” sign) divide into groups, and head out. Wear long pants, work or hiking boots, work gloves, and bring your own water. Bug spray and sunscreen are good too. Because we are using power tools and the works sites are a bit of a hike, this isn’t a good trail day for the little shredders. We’ll have cold drinks and snacks (thanks WMMBA!) when we finish up. So come out and help Wahlfield look great for Skirts in the Dirt 2025! And you can still sign up to race or volunteer too!
