Kids in grades K-3 are invited to read one-on-one with a volunteer from the Jewish Council for Aging.
Children going into kindergarten through third grade can practice their reading skills during this summer while reading one-on-one with previously selected volunteers (50+) from the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) Heyman Interages Center.
Students can bring their own book or select one from the library.
The program runs for 5 weeks, from July 8 to August 5, 2025.
No pre-registration required.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
