Take Cover - Upper Elementary/Lower Middle School

Join Kritter Scouts for an interactive lesson on how animals blend in and take cover from predator's in their environment! This is geared towards 8-12 year olds but all are welcome π
π¦We will meet at the picnic tables!
Time: 10:00 AM β 11:00 AM (Optional extended care until
12:00 AM for an additional $5-10 depending on number of students)
π² SPACE IS LIMITED

Weβll kick things off with an open discussion about ways prey hide to get ideas for our game ππ¦
ππAfter talking, we will head over to a "thicket" for an advanced hide and seek! One student will be a predator spotting prey from afar- can you take cover fast enough to not be caught?!
πΎWe will then talk about how we can take cover in the world around us! We find refuge in the Lord and can strengthen this in many ways such as prayer, worship, reading the Bible, etc. This will be an open discussion for students to give ideas on how they can stay covered!
π¨To wrap up our time students will make their own shelter craft!
