This special fundraiser pays homage to the iconic White Party of Miami's Vizcaya, a historic LGBTQ+ gathering that raise millions for HIV/AIDS causes while becoming a symbol of unity and glamour. Echoing that legacy, the JC Pride White Party also revisits Jersey City's own history, when in the early 2000s White Parties helped launch what would become on of New Jersey's most vibrant Pride movements.
This year’s White Party is more than just a celebration—it’s a homecoming. Held in tribute to the grassroots efforts of those early years of the organization. The night will feature JC Pride’s original co-founder, Paul Mendoza himself returning to the DJ booth, joined by legendary host Harmonica Sunbeam, the first MC of Jersey City Pride in 2001 who continues to host the annual event. Guests are encouraged to don their finest white attire and dance the night away in support of JC Pride’s ongoing mission to uplift, empower, and unite.
