After years of dreaming, building, and not giving up β the Midwest Tank Project is finally here.
On July 19 & 20th, 2025, join us at the School of Freshwater Sciences in Milwaukee, WI for Tank Time for a Cause; a conservation-focused underwater art experience. The first of its kind in the Midwest. Mermaids and photographers are invited to create freshwater magic in our 750-gallon traveling tank, βthe Great Barloni,β with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Milwaukee Riverkeeper.
Milwaukee Riverkeeper is a community-led, science-backed nonprofit working to protect and improve the health of the waterways in the Milwaukee River Basin.
Please plan to spend approximately 10 minutes reviewing the required material prior to booking. Additional virtual preparations will be sent to you after you book, and viewing them is required. The Great Barloni is a blessing to have here in the Midwest, but it is a small tank, and therefore can be a difficult one. While I am grateful to offer this opportunity, we must all do our due diligence as a community to know our limits, and operate within them.
Letβs dive in.
