BIG FREQUIN' WEEKEND NIGHT 2 - GOVERNMENT ZERO + THE JAGGERNAUTS + THE KNOWN UNKNOWNS + LONELYPROOF

The Frequency closed its doors June 30, 2018. Nearly a decade later owner and talent buyer Darwin Sampson has decided he misses booking shows and decides to promote one big event a year as The Frequency Live. The first annual Big Frequin' Weekend will be held at two different locations, Crucible and Gamma Ray Bar. This year's theme is a celebration of Crustacean Records' 30th Anniversary.

Saturday September 6th is a return to 121 W. Main St, the "scene of the crime", if you will. Gamma Ray Bar is located in the same space The Frequency occupied, so it's only fitting to close the weekend there. This evening features a return to the stage for Government Zero, releasing a new CD after years of inactivity. Government Zero and their fans were major supporters of The Frequency, we are thrilled they are coming back for another show on this stage. We also welcome Crustacean recording artists The Jaggernauts from Eau Claire, WI, releasing a new 7" on the label. Crustacean Records' founder Chris Langkamp will make an appearance with his band The Known Unknowns. The Known Unknowns' "The Worker" was Crustacean Records' 100th release, this is the proper celebration of that milestone. Opening this show is Lonelyproof, a local supergroup formed by Kyle Rightley and Lo Marie. A divergence from their normal style, prepare to be rocked.
