The People vs. Project 2025: We Got the Power

On Saturday, September 20th, we will initiate a national movement to publicly protest and organize against Project 2025. The People vs. Project 2025 will be an artistic, populist and public expression of the work by many activist communities and political advocacy organizations to go against a dangerous Christian Fundamentalist dogma fronted by the Heritage Foundation.

The first phase of the movement will build with public performances through 2026 in the run-up to the November mid-term elections. Our goal is to encourage voters to support candidates for public office throughout the country, who will pledge to oppose Project 2025 and build back the institutions, such as the National Endowment for the Arts which have been targeted in the nationwide cuts.

Our first action in September will include adapting a mix version of the song, "The Power" by Snap. Facilitated by performing artists, people will engage in mass public actions across the country and live stream them. There will be an in-person rehearsal starting at 10:00am. The event will start at 12:00pm and last for about 60 minutes.
