August is getting closer and that means our 2nd Annual Founder's Day is coming up!
We celebrate Henry Pfluger Sr(1803-1867)
for having the tenacity and wherewithall to leave his home in Germany, travel across an ocean and work his way up from the Texas Coast to where he would settle to rear his family. The area he chose in 1853 would soon be known as Pflugersville and eventually Pflugerville.
Saturday, August 9th from 6 to 9 pm we will celebrate our Founding Father with Happy German music by the Alex Meixner Band , great German food by Schnitzel Wagon , German beer and soft drinks from The Three Legged Goat along with Vendors like mbodi with his wonderful candles and #Krautfather will be bringing his fantastic fresh Sauerkraut, pickles, salsa and OMG those fabulous spicy chocolates!
