Christmas in July at Lewis and Clark SRA

Join us for Christmas in July at Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19!

ACTIVITIES
All weekend:
- Be sure to look out for Santa!
- Christmas scavenger hunt – Pick up at the office/Marina store and return for a prize!
- Grab & go reindeer crafts ($2 to $3) available at the Marina store.
- Holiday ice cream at the Marina store — ask for Christmas sprinkles!
- Holiday chalk art at the Marina.
- Holiday campsite decorating contest – get out your holiday decor and make your campsite as festive as can be! Participants must call the office/Marina store by 2 p.m. on Saturday OR let the camp host know they would like to be included in the contest.

Friday July 18:
- 9 p.m. – Outdoor movie, “Elf”, at the Weigand picnic shelter. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

Saturday, July 19:
- 1 to 2:30 p.m. – Holiday-themed archery ($5 per person; tickets available at the Marina located south of the boat parking lot.)
- 4:30 p.m. – Dutch Oven cookie decorating on the Marina patio
- 8 to 10 p.m. – Lighted holiday hayrack rides ($2 per person; tickets available in the Marina. Meet east of the Marina.)
- 9 to 10 p.m. – Campsite decoration judging – Winners will be awarded in Nebraska Game and Parks Bucks; 1st place: $150 bucks, 2nd place: $100 bucks; 3rd place $50 bucks

This event is free and open to the public. A valid Nebraska state park vehicle permit is required for entry.
