The Local Loop: Vibe and Stride

Hey team! 🌧️ I can’t believe this weather is playing games with us again. I’ve checked the forecast for today and tomorrow, and it’s not looking great. So, and The Pickled Chicken have decided to move their chocolate protein milk spoils to next Saturday (26th July). It makes total sense with the sponsorship because we want the best turnout for the best outcome. Plus, they’d be standing out at the corner of the JTV Centre with no cover and that’s not something we’d want them to have to do in this weather.

I’ll still be showing up tomorrow at 8 AM for anyone keen to do the loop. Depending on the turnout we will have to make the call as we need to be considerate of laser's time and the safety of one another.

It feels a bit frustrating because I love my routine and starting my Saturday with all of you. We’ve been on such a good streak 🌟 But I remind myself of the burnt toast theory and I live by it. Sometimes when things don’t go as planned, maybe it’s God’s way for one reason or another. Like burning your toast and having to make a new slice, it might be a small setback that’s protecting you. It’s a small setback but it’s okay because we have SO many Saturdays ahead!

So for now, let’s aim for next Saturday (26th July). Our vibes, music, smiles, hugs, and that delicious chocolate protein milk will be waiting! 🥤
