The Jordan Area Historical Society invites the public to join them as they welcome retired Air Force Colonel Jay Pearsall and wife, Debbie when they travel from their home in Williamsburg, Virginia to participate in the Model T International 68th Annual Tour held in Owatonna July 20-25. Jay and Debbie are making a special stop to bring their Model T touring car to the location of its purchase in 1919 at the C.H. Casey Stove Tin Hardware Store in Jordan. That location and building is today the home of Water Street Antiques.
Jay and Debbie will also exhibit their Model T pride and joy in the parking area in front of The History Center at 116 First Street East on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Come visit with all of us at the Jordan Area Historical Society and celebrate the told and untold stories of Jordan. Step back in time to learn how Jordan has shaped its inhabitants today. The Historical Society volunteers continue to collect, catalogue and preserve the artifacts and exhibits and it is hoped their efforts will spark curiosity about the past and understanding of these shared experiences – experiences such as this visit of The Pearsall’s with the Model T that actually drove the streets of Jordan in 1919!
