Very Greasy is a collaboration of Mid-Coast musicians Dan Kelly, Andre Lascoutx, Erik Hallsey, & Sam Yawdik. The name is derived from their mutual love of “maxi-instrumentalist” David Lindley and his band El Rayo-X; whose 3rd album is called “Very Greasy.” They play an eclectic mix of world & dance music with select choices from El Rayo-X’s discography along with classic songs from Paul Simon, The Police, Ry Cooder & more. Very Greasy is; Dan Kelly (guitar & vocals), Andre Lascoutx (guitar & vocals), Erik Hallsey (electric bass), and Sam Yawdik (drums & vocals )
