Summer Splash 2025

As the summer heat settles in, we're excited to invite our community of water enthusiasts and nature lovers to join us on a two-mile paddle down the scenic waters of the Cheat River with Blackwater Outdoor Adventures! Whether you're a seasoned paddler or looking to try something new, the Summer Splash is the perfect opportunity to soak in the sunshine, experience the fun of the river, and bask in the magnificence of the mighty Cheat. So prepare for a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the great outdoors!

Thanks to the generous support from the American Water Charitable Foundation, WVHC is able to offer a limited number of sponsored rentals for this incredible adventure. Our goal is to make this event as accessible as possible for our local communities eager to discover the beauty of the Highlands. It's important to note that the number of rentals covered will depend on the types of rentals available and will be offered as long as funding permits. However, you also have the option to rent directly from BOA or bring your own boat using the information provided below. Upon completion of registration, we will be in touch to confirm rental arrangements.

After the float, light food and drinks will be available. Bring your own beverages! We can't wait to share a day on the water with you.
