Celebrate the local farmers, & volunteers who have helped us pack over 40,000 boxes of dry and fresh produce for local food hubs.
Giving thanks all the folx who contributed to 85,000 hot meals that went to hungry people.
Starting September 28,2024 after our road was cleared we began the response; we pulled into Mother Earth Foods connecting generators to keep the food safe for consumption. The next day Dr. Dave & Amanda were serving up the coffee, eggs & sausage biscuit breakfast in the Sam's club parking lot. We moved across the fire station on Haywood rd & haven't stoped since.
So many amazing people activating together managing the books, team schedules, dishwashers to the chefs to the people taking orders!
Through GAP Over 3.1 million inkind donations of money food and goods provided to the community.
Food & Family Friendly FUN! FOAM Party! Raffle! Food Trucks!
We will have a video gallery of all the footage from the GAP team activating since Helene drenched our door steps.
