ROTARY CLUB OF ANTIOCH SUPPORTS LOCAL FIRST RESPONDERS.
The Rotary Club of Antioch is holding a tug-of-war fundraiser on August 16th to help first responders who suffer from traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
The Rotary Club of Antioch learned that first responders are at a higher risk of traumatic injuries. Rotarian & Antioch Fire Chief Jon Cokefair shared the challenges for his own son Josh, who was a first responder in Grayslake and suffered such an injury a few years ago. Using a hyperbaric chamber was one of the few treatments that has assisted Josh in his day-to-day life.
The Rotary Club of Antioch proceeds of this joint fundraiser will go to support health and wellness – such as Rocky Mountain Hyperbaric which helps first responders and post 9/11 veterans.
