Polymer Clay Beginning Cane Making

Darlene is going to teach us how to make Polymer Clay Canes….Polymer clay with a pattern or design in it. Think of those Christmas candies that have a little tree, or wreath, or stocking in the middle. You will learn to condition the clay, layer a basic design, stretch it to reduce the size without distorting the pattern, and how to use it to create a repeat pattern cane that can be sliced and made into beads or pendants and baked in class. You will learn so much and create stunning pieces!! We will be making a basic pattern in this beginner class, and you most likely will have plenty of cane to save to add with other patterns in future classes.
