Easy Walk - Aalst to the “Grote Heide”

You are welcome to join us on this 2.5 hour round walk. The walk will take us from Aalst to the former stagecoach relay station, “de Hut van Mie Pils”.
The starting point is at the parking place across the street from Sophiastraat 103, 5583 CB Waalre. Travelling by bus? No problem! There is a bus stop nearby!
We gather at the parking area from 13:45 and start the walk at 14:00. We'll start our walk through a small forest, then after crossing the A2, the highway from Eindhoven to Maastricht, we enter the “Grote Heide”, which is a half-open landscape of heath, lakes and trees. Here we make a large loop and on the way back we stop at “de Hut van Mie Pils” for a drink before returning to the car park.
The walk is done at an easy pace, no special equipment required. Please visit our website for more walks or info.
