Join fibre artist Sarah Richards on this day workshop to learn how to needle felt an autumnal fox.
In this workshop you will learn the basics of needle felting. Sarah will teach you how to shape, layer, and detail with wool using special barbed needles. You will cover lots of different techniques including working with an armature, layering colour, creating realistic eyes, and how to make a bushy tail. You will have the choice of making your fox in either a sitting or standing position. By the end, you'll walk away with a charming wool figure and the skills to continue felting on your own.
Over the course of the day, you will be using a variety of fibres and tools, with Sarah providing lots of accompanying advice and step-by-step information. If you have always wanted to try needle felting, but unsure of where to start, this is the class for you.
