Saying goodbye to host emeritus Marc Saltzberg -- Drinking Liberally LA -- July 23 at 7pm in Venice/

As you know, our Drinking Liberally chapter's founding host alumnus Marc Saltzberg passed away on June 27. It was great to see so many of you at Marc's memorial party in Venice last Saturday. It was a good, old fashioned street party, and it was exactly the kind of thing Marc would have loved.
Marc's wife Nancy, also a long time Drinking Liberally member, will be attending our meeting this month. We'll be doing the usual thing, talking about the state of the world, progressive politics, and our place in it, with good friends and good drinks on the side, exactly the kinds of things Marc was so enthusiastic about. So please come by, especially if you knew Marc, and help us pour one out in his memory.
We'll be meeting on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7pm at the Firestone Walker Brewing Company in South Venice, conveniently located close to Marina Del Rey and Culver City.
