Pull up a chair and have yourself a pint. On Saturday, January 17 from 6-9 PM, Madden’s Irish Pub in Elroy, WI is the place to be for a lively night of traditional music and good company. The West Fork Gals, a high-spirited, all-female string band, bring the rich traditions of old-time, bluegrass, and folk music to life.

From the hills of Appalachia to the misty roots of Irish and Scottish melodies, this music was carried across oceans by immigrants and shaped into something uniquely American. The West Fork Gals carry that tradition forward with rich harmonies, twin fiddles, banjo, guitar, upright bass, and a deep love for the music that connects generations.

Who are the West Fork Gals?
A high-energy, harmony-singing string band with deep roots and fresh spirit.
Liz Voz and Summer Deal – twin fiddles with twice the charm
Jane Keeley – clawhammer banjo that won’t quit
Kathy Casper – rhythm and soul on guitar
Terre Van Haren Roddy – holding down the groove on upright bass

Born out of a simple idea, “Let’s start an all-women string band!” The West Fork Gals began as a traditional group and quickly grew into a crowd-pleasing force. Blending old songs with heartfelt originals, they deliver it all with harmony, humor, and heart.

The West Fork Gals are keeping tradition music alive one tune at a time. Event is free for customers. So come early to grab a good seat.
