2025 Serve Morning

Bring your family, your small group and invite your friends to spend a morning blessing others. Show God's love and have fun through serving together. All volunteers should check-in at NCBC at 8:30 AM where we will pray together and distribute details for serving locations and tasks.


OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:
Serve Outreach Partners & Community Organizations

Sleep in Heavenly Peace - **This is our biggest volunteer need** - build beds for kids in need (40 people needed. Volunteers should be 8 years or older, and must sign up using this SHP form.)

Hiawatha Elementary School - flower beds (10-15 people needed)

Hidden Gems Thrift Shop - organizing donations (6-8 people needed)

His Hand Free Clinic - W**d removal, washing windows (8-10 people needed)

Navigators - prayer walk/talk with people at Kirkwood/Mt Mercy (8-10 people needed)

NW Resource Center - organizing donations (8-10 people needed)

Central Furniture Rescue -- Assisting with furniture delivery to one of our clients; Assembling kitchen kits for households in need; Processing donations—opening bags/boxes, sorting items, and packaging them for distribution (10-15 people needed)


DONATE:
(Bring donations to the church between July 23 - August 2. Load into vans in church parking lot.)

-Clothing (no undergarments)

-Working Electronics

Cannot accept:
Car seats, exercise equipment, headboards/ bed frames, heavily worn shoes, paint, chemicals, high chairs, undergarments, used mattresses; anything with stains, tears, missing parts or significant wear.
