Grab your boots - its bug hunting time!
Explore the woods looking for wiggly worms, creepy crawlies, and fuzzy caterpillars. Look under logs, peek beneath leaves, and lie on the ground to spot tiny creatures hiding in nature; then use sticks, leaves, and other finds to build your very own minibeast!
At the end we will gather together at the fire pit and eat a treat, cooked on the fire.
Fun, muddy, and full of surprises—perfect for little explorers and their grown-ups!
Facilities:
Refreshments available to buy in the Pavilion Café (card only payments)
Toilets at the Pavilion Café.
Free car park (up to 3 hours) and free parking on neighbouring roads
Level access, some uneven ground in the woods.
Please make sure that kids wear appropriate clothes for the event.
We would like this event to be open to all. Please get in touch if you have any questions about how we can support you to take part in this workshop.
Children 5+ need to be accompanied by an adult.
If you have a carer/support worker who supports you to take part in activities, they can attend this workshop for free (please let us know so we can plan for numbers attending)
