Farm-to-Table

"Because nothing is more delicious than food grown right in your backyard."

From 2:30pm-8:30pm on August 12, 2025, enjoy a 'taste of local' with Southern Alberta's culinary experience in the Taber and Barnwell Area.

The event begins at Thrive Honey, where you'll tour the facility and learn all about honey production. You'll also discover how the honey and sugar beet industries work hand in hand here in Southern Alberta.

After our time at Thrive Honey, we head to Molnar's Farm for featured drink tastings from Pivot Spirits. While you sip, you'll be guided through a local sugar beet operation—one of Canada's hidden agricultural gems. In addition to sugar beets, Molnar Farm is renowned for its fresh corn and a wide variety of fresh market garden vegetables, which will also be included in the tour!

The final stop of the tour is a culinary highlight: a specially prepared gourmet meal from Cattlemen's Chophouse, crafted with care using local ingredients.

It’s a farm-to-table tour at its absolute finest.
Come taste, sip, and enjoy a sweet evening!

* This is an organized group tour, however, attendees will move from location to location in their own transportation (from the outskirts of Coaldale to Taber).
