Ladies Day is all about celebrating the incredible women involved in Rugby League β from the players and supporters to the volunteers who help keep our club running. To each and every one of you, we say thank you.
This year, weβre also using the day to raise much-needed awareness and funds for a very special cause β supporting Alara, a brave 5-year-old local girl currently battling a rare and devastating condition known as Batten Disease.
Batten Disease is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system, causing progressive loss of vision, motor skills, and cognitive abilities. It is life-limiting, and sadly, there is currently no cure.
To help support Alara and her family, weβll be selling tickets to our exclusive Ladies Day Tent where guests can enjoy nibbles, drinks, and a chance to win fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses.
With all grades taking on the Belconnen Warriors, it's shaping up to be a huge day of footy β starting with the League Tag kicking off at 9:30am.
