Distress Centre Halton (DCH) is a vital non-profit organization providing free, confidential support services to individuals across our community. In addition to operating a 24/7 Distress Line for those in emotional distress or crisis, the DCH offers the TeleCheck program—offering regular, pre-scheduled, friendly phone calls to isolated or vulnerable adults and seniors, and TeleCheck for Students, a newer initiative providing connection and support to post-secondary students navigating mental health challenges. With the help of their incredible team of trained volunteers, Distress Centre Halton is committed to promoting emotional well-being, reducing social isolation, and ensuring no one has to face difficult times alone.
