Join Amy Misso, owner of Linwood Candles in a fragrance blending workshop focusing on the art of candle making. Amy will demonstrate and discuss tips and tricks to create beautiful candles using simple and natural ingredients including plant based wax and phthalate-free essential oil infused fragrances. Choose from in season scents from her scent library. Warm scent notes of nutmeg, cedar wood, vetiver, sandalwood and cinnamon-handpoured into a gorgeous glass vessel.

About the Instructor:
Amy Misso poured the first few batches of Linwood Candles on her kitchen stove, five floors up in her little apartment on Linwood Avenue in 2013. She fell in love with the process and how it demanded her to slow down. To be patient and intentional. From melting the wax, mixing the correct amount of essential oils and slowly hand-pouring each candle. Amy now lives and works out of her home studio in Rochester, New York with her husband & two daughters. With a background in architecture & environmental design, you can see her style woven throughout the fabric of her business: architecturally inspired packaging with a hint of vintage charm.
