"Going Beyond the Rule of Thirds"
In this highly interactive workshop, Michael Mills demonstrates how to add harmony to your plein air or studio paintings through the use of the Fibonacci Sequence (harmonic spiral). Bring your canvases, paints, and brushes with you to this paint-a-long session - or just watch - as Michael explores a simple and easy way to use nature's Golden Ratio while painting a seascape.
Michael Mills is a noted artist who recently participated in the 2025 Olmsted Plein Air Invitational and Georgia Color Plein Air in Savannah. He served as the judge for this year's Gilmer Arts Festival. Michael's art is represented at Galley 80 in Tybee Island, among others.
The program will begin at 10:30 and end at 12 Noon.
