About Bill Serfass:
A lifelong music-maker and recently retired after 38 years teaching music in the Gettysburg Area School District, Bill now dedicates his time to leading musical groups and sharing the joy of singing. He’s a founding member of The Willys, with six studio albums, four solo albums, and two live recordings under his belt. The Willys have opened for major acts like The Bacon Brothers and Blessed Union of Souls, and continue to earn accolades including the Best of Gettysburg award from Celebrate Gettysburg magazine.
Bill also serves as Artistic Director of the Gettysburg Civic Chorus, leading over 85 singers in concerts, community events, and performances at ballparks and nursing homes.
From his first songs at age three to today's energetic sing-alongs, Bill brings a “cochlear cornucopia” of music to every session—along with his guitar and a passion for bringing people together through song.
Come sing, smile, and share the music!
