Pickle Me This: Introduction To Naturally Fermented Vegetables

Come learn how to prepare your own probiotic lacto-fermented foods at home. Participants will learn about naturally fermented vegetables and their many health benefits including gut health and immunity. You'll learn tips and tricks to prepare delicious crispy fermented pickles, salsa, sauerkraut and more. Each student will go home with a recipe booklet, and a jar of freshly made sauerkraut with a fermentation lid and weight. The cost of the class is $40 per person, all classes must be pre-paid and are non-refundable. Class size is limited to 12 people, call 256-686-4500 or come by to register.
